Sake is a delicious 2000-year-old craft - but it's not only for drinking. Did you know that Sake has been used for centuries for beauty care in Japan? You might have heard about Geishas bathing in Sake.
Sake is incredibly hydrating and nourishing, beaming with amino acids and peptides, known for its naturally beautifying properties.
The fermentation magic of rice turning into Sake, producing various enzymes in the process, is where the magic lies. You just need to look at the hands of elderly Sake brewers.

Incredibly hydrating, beaming with amino acids, antioxidants, and peptides. Ferulic acid strengthens skin elasticity; kojic acid from the fermentation process delivers sake's legendary brightening effect.
KOKUM BUTTER
A secret moisturizing superstar from the Garcinia indica tree. Known for smooth skin absorption without clogging pores, and its soothing properties for acne and inflamed skin.
CANDELILLA WAX
A nourishing vegan alternative to beeswax. Hypoallergenic, Vitamin A-rich for healthy cell regeneration, great for soothing frown wrinkles. Non-comedogenic - won't clog pores. Acts as a protective barrier against the environment.
LAVENDER OIL

Lovely to meet you. I'm a United Nations Official turned Entrepreneur, on a mission to share the beauty of Japanese sake, in support of our precious 2000-year-old craft.
As I learned about the current realities of sake in my ancestral town of Nagano - a major historical sake production area - that our precious craft is in a serious decline, I wanted to do something.
I've been making my own natural selfcare product since 2014. Sharing my Sake Balm is another fabulous way to spread sake love with the world.
