Leaving my permanent appointment with the United Nations was one of the scariest decisions I’ve ever made. I started a business inspired by my love for Japanese Sake, and yes, some people thought I was crazy!

But now, I have a business that brings me so much joy, with over 11,000 students around the world enrolled in my online courses, and a Sake-infused cosmetics brand that won the 2024 European Natural Beauty Awards – Influencers’ Choice of the Year. I’ve also been featured in Forbes, which still feels surreal!
